Zhejiang Kesun New Energy Co., Ltd. (ENSUN PVT) recently welcomed a research delegation from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) to our facilities. Led by Professor Guan Xin—a recognized expert in the Photovoltaic Thermal (PVT) industry with an extensive portfolio of academic research and publications—the visit marked the beginning of a strategic partnership between the university and our company.
During the site visit, representatives from both parties officially signed the “Off-Campus Internship Base Co-construction Agreement.” This formally establishes Zhejiang Kesun New Energy as a designated Practical Education Base for USST, specifically supporting students and faculty from the School of Energy and Power Engineering.
The core objective of this collaboration is to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial application. Aligned with national educational goals to cultivate outstanding engineering talent, the partnership creates a dedicated platform for industry-academia-research cooperation.
Under the agreement, ENSUN PVT will open its facilities to USST undergraduate and graduate students, providing the equipment and environment necessary for practical engineering training. This hands-on approach allows students to engage directly with PVT technical innovation and product development on the factory floor.
Beyond student internships, the joint platform will facilitate reciprocal exchanges. Zhejiang Kesun New Energy will support engineering workshops for USST faculty, while the university will provide technical assistance, information services, and joint research initiatives to support our company’s R&D efforts. Furthermore, the base will serve as a talent pipeline, granting priority employment opportunities to outstanding USST graduates.
This long-term agreement represents a mutual commitment to resource sharing and technological advancement. By combining USST’s academic excellence under Professor Guan Xin’s guidance with ENSUN PVT’s manufacturing capabilities, we aim to accelerate innovation in the renewable energy sector while preparing the next generation of specialized engineering professionals.
